Healthsmart Granola




This ingredients in this granola recipe are my chosen and preferred products.

Please feel free to revise, adjust, delete or substitute some of the ingredients taylor made to

your liking.


2 cups whole rolled oats

1 cup chopped mixed almonds, walnuts, macadamia, dried cherries

½ cup dried cranberries

¼ cup shredded coconut flakes

1 cup applesauce

¼ cup melted butter or coconut oil

½ cup mini dark chocolate chips


Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix all ingredients except chocolate chips and cranberries in a large bowl.

Spread granola mix onto a sheet pan.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, use a long handled wooden spoon to break the clumps apart.

(this part is optional, if you want your granola less clumpy)


Let cool in the oven, this will make the granola more crispy.

Before serving or storing, add chocolate chips.
