Skip the drive throughs. Here's a very simple recipe for a nutritious pizza that you can prep on Sunday, refrigerate, and then pop in the oven on a busy weeknight. It's so easy, you can include a two year old in your meal prep.


  1. Start with a store bought pizza shell. For a healthy boost, look for whole-wheat crusts or a veggie crust

  2. Add shredded cheese as a base

  3. This is the best part...toppings! If you're meal prepping for the week, you can consider using some of the items that you're already including in other meals. Don't skimp on healthy veggies

  4. Top your pizza with shredded cheese and then cover the pie and refrigerate

  5. On your busy weeknight, pop the pizza in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 12 minutes
